cannabinoid receptors

cannabinoid receptors
(= CB1, CB2)
Seven membrane-spanning G-protein-coupled receptors for cannabinoids (and endogenous agonists such as anandamide). CB1 receptors are mostly found in brain and may mediate the psychotropic activities, the CB2 receptors are more peripheral and found extensively in the immune system.
